There has discussion recently on the status of product in the supply chain in the event of a no deal Brexit.
This note is to confirm to you that the principles which were applied to products being accepted as “placed on the market” during the changeover from the Directive 89/686 to the Regulation (EU) 2016/425 will also be applied in the event of a “no deal Brexit”.
In order to support the membership and confirm this position BSIF sought, through the European Safety Federation (ESF) clarification from the EU Commission.
